Powder coating your car, motorcycle or bike parts adds a decorative yet protective finish to their surface. The technique has become a viable paint alternative that has been used in the motoring industry for many years as unlike painting, coating with powder does not require any solvents and it gives a quality, even finish. As an added bonus, it is also known for its durability as it can protect the surface from scratching, fading and chipping.
The ‘powder coating’ method involves the use of an electrostatic spray gun to apply a powder that contains pigments and resins. We have an extensive selection of colours available, so no matter what your taste, we can give your item a new lease of life!
Our hot dip galvanising service provides a protective coating like no other! By applying this protection to your parts increases the life span, durability and predictability of the metal or steel it is applied to. This coating gives the part an outstanding abrasion resistance, so much so that they say once applied, this coating becomes part of the very steel surface it is protecting.
As for our Shotblasting service, we undertake any necessary pre-treatments, including stripping off any old paint, rust or residue that is on the metal. In turn the process will strengthen, clean and polish the metal. The methods we use are air blasting, wet blasting and sand blasting. Our experts have over 20 years experience & knowledge under their belts in working in this trade with customers around Leicester.
