Billys On The Road

When cruising around the South Downs and Surrey Hills, a pitstop at Billy’s On The Road is a must. Found on the A29 Stane Street, just north of Billingshurt, the refurbished ex-Little Chef is a locally-run café and restaurant that goes above and beyond anyone’s expectations of a roadside diner.

The menu features classics, like all-day breakfasts, ham egg & chips and burgers, as well as international dishes like spicy curried beans and Huevos Rancheros. Coffee comes freshly ground from a small artisan roaster, Peaberry Coffee. All ingredients are locally sourced and every dish freshly cooked, all at a very reasonable price.

Parking is free, with a large carpark that regularly plays host classic car clubs and biker meet ups. If the food alone isn’t enough to keep you entertained, then the constant flow of impressive rides and motorhead minds that pull in certainly will.

Billy’s On The Road is open 7 days a week, from 7am to 4pm Monday to Saturday, and from 8am on Sundays. There’s lots of seating both indoor and outdoor, accommodating small and large groups alike.
